Three Ways Corps Members Can Serve Your Site:
Classroom Volunteers
Our volunteers are able to assist in the classroom in many ways, playground assistance, small group work, reading buddies, crafts, story telling and more!
ECSC Classroom Volunteers have 21 hours of Early Childhood Training and are registered in the Colorado Shines PDIS System.
Encore Staff
Our Encore Staff receive specialized ECSC course work as well as ECE 1011 and 1033 through our affiliation with Red Rocks Community College. Encore staff are trained qualified for employment as teachers, substitutes, and floaters.
ECSC Encore Staff are Early Teacher Qualified within the Colorado Shines PDIS System.
*ALL ECSC Corps Members have completed and passed a Level 3 Background Check through Sterling Volunteers
Volunteer Business Advisors
Our Volunteer Business Advisors have previous business experience, and receive 6 hours of Early Childhood Rules and Regulations ECSC course work and 3 hours of Cultural Responsiveness in Early Childhood. Using their expertise and passion, they help Early Childhood centers achieve their business goals.
