ECSC Encore Staff
Encore Staff are at the heart of ECSC. These dedicated individuals complete 3–4 months of free, online ECSC coursework in partnership with Red Rocks Community College. Classes are conducted via Zoom and run concurrently with an internship and the attainment of an Early Childhood Teacher Certification.
Upon completion, participants are qualified to work in Early Childhood Centers as teachers, substitutes, or other flexible roles. Classes are part of a cohort-based learning model, where participants study alongside younger early childhood professionals, fostering intergenerational relationships and creating a rich exchange of experiences and perspectives. No prior experience with children is necessary.
ECSC Classroom Volunteers
These individuals are part of our Early Childhood Service Corps and will complete 19 hours of FREE, online training through ECSC training modules, including The Growing Brain and Early Childhood Rules and Regulations courses. These courses take place over the span of one month.
While this training does not qualify individuals for employment in Early Childhood Education environments, it equips them with foundational knowledge to make a meaningful impact through volunteering. No prior experience with children is necessary.
Encore Volunteer Business Advisors are part of our Early Childhood Service Corps and bring their business expertise and passion to licensed childcare and preschool centers to help them achieve their operational and financial goals.
Advisors complete 7 hours of free training in Early Childhood Rules and Regulations before being matched with licensed home care providers or childcare centers. Once trained, they provide free, one-on-one business mentorship and support, either in person or virtually, helping centers strengthen their business practices and long-term sustainability.

ECSC Learning Partner with ECG/Pamoja
Learning Partners share wisdom, kindness, and life experience with refugee and immigrant students entering the Early Childhood Education workforce in Colorado. Many Empowering Communities Globally (ECG)/Pamoja students are parents, newcomers to the United States, and working hard to build financial stability while adapting to a new language and culture.
Learning Partners offer encouragement, review coursework, practice professional communication, and most importantly, extend a welcoming hand. Through small acts of kindness, reliability, and genuine human connection, Learning Partners help nurture belonging across cultures and generations.
